Mar 2021 - present​

• Data Warehouse synchronization: work with BA to collect requirements, and collaborate with other team members to brainstorm, design, and create jobs to synchronize data from multiple sources to the data warehouse using Impala SQL.

• Data Science: Use Python with various techniques and methodologies to tackle Machine Learning and Data Science problems like Employee Churn, Customer Churn, Customer Segmentation, Cross-sell Up-sell, Inventory Demand Forecast, and Optimization (though time-series is not the love of my life), to name but a few.

• Others: host and participate in seminars related to Data Governance, Data Science, and MLOps, do web scraping and prompt tuning LLMs for fun, conduct API testing for real,  provide interns and juniors with guidance, and the list goes on.

Recognition and Gains:

• Successfully built a toolkit (demo version) that helps enhance data cleaning and feature selection process in ML model applications.

• Successfully synchronized the CRM Data Warehouse which was later applied to the automated reporting jobs of the CRM team.

Data Governance - Data BA

M_Service (Momo) - www.momo.vn - a financial technology company providing e-payment services in Vietnam under the brand Momo. Momo is known as the most-used e-wallet in Vietnam.

May 2020 - Dec 2020​

• Corporate with other business units to brainstorm, define, and analyze business requirements, to come up with ideas and propose solutions for users' pain points within data.

• Support the Business Intelligence team in data quality enhancing, metrics defining, and reporting using Google Data Studio.

• Support in constructing workflow charts and diagrams, studying system capabilities, and writing specifications using Draw.io, Visio, and Atlassian.

• Work as a coordinator alongside Data Scientists to deliver a training program in Data Science to Momo staff, and create course slides in Algebra, Naive Bayes, and Linear Regression sessions.

• Work with senior staff in improving data quality (i.e. build reference data management system, issue data process for business, support other technical teams in database design, etc.)

•    Manage data, work with technical tools such as Excel, Power BI, and others to collect, analyze and interpret data.

•    Involve in building data models to analyze and insight into users on social networks together with participating in testing activities of model and algorithm.

•    Exploit and document the requirements using tools like Visio and Balsamiq to analyze and propose appropriate solutions, create mockups,  as well as come up with new ideas for developing new features, upgrading old versions, or changes from stakeholders' requirements.

Recognition and Gains:

- Our products were well-received by many big names in various fields namely Abbott, Maritime Bank, BIDV, et cetera.
